Sand Island Centre - Burnham on Crouch

Established clients, Sand Island Developments Limited, instructed DCA to provide a full commission service in respect of this site whereby we advised on the identification and purchase of the site initially and then to develop a suitable architectural design taking into account the presence of 2no. public sewers running through the site. 

This half acre green field site was enclosed by light industrial buildings on all flanks but was fronted by a crossover left for development purposes.

We then went on to obtain Planning and Building Regulations approval and to prepare contract documents including a detailed specification for tender purposes. The project was tendered competitively and Elliston Steady & Hawes were the successful contractor.

The project was funded by NatWest plc.
