The client approached DCA with planning permission already granted for the refurbishment of this Grade II listed structure comprising ground floor and basement levels to form a shop unit and for the upper floors to be converted into 3no. two bedroom flats. The involvement also included the design and fitting out works associated with the shop.

DCA were appointed on a full commission basis to complete the design work and to manage the project through to completion. The contractor selected was Ellison Steady & Hawes. The design involved a close working relationship with the Conservation Officer to ensure the design and use of materials were appropriate.
